CM Shahbaz tells Punjab govt aims in future

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday highlighted aims of the provincial government via terming the protection of lives, properties and honour of the citizens as ‘prime responsibility’.

CM Shahbaz Sharif said that the provincial government stood firm for the protection of lives, properties and honour of the citizens.

He stated this while presiding over a high level meeting in Lahore on Tuesday to review the law and order situation in the province.

Condemning the yesterday’s killing incident in Faisalabad, he said that the preliminary report of the sad incident has been prepared and an inquiry team has been constituted to probe into the matter.

He vowed to provide justice to the bereaved family at all cost and said that the culprit will be punished as per the law.
