Govt turned peacful protest into violent thru planning; Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the government made the protest violent with its thoughtful plan in Faisalabad.

The PTI vice-chairman was talking to media and said the government prime responsibility is to control the situation but the government made situation worse by forcing businesses to close.

He urged the PTI workers to show restrain as the party chief Imran khan reaching to Ghanta Ghar Chowk within hours and the party brokered deal with government to be peaceful.

Qureshi said that the person who resorted to firing on the party workers was guard of Rana Saullah’s son in law adding that whatever happened in Novelty Chowk was thoughtful planning of the government.

He said the PTI workers did not try to shut shops but the government itself close down businesses.
