Faisalabad incidents diminished prospect of PTI-govt negotiation: Sheikh Rashid

LAHORE: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the violent incidents occurred in Faisalabad during the PTI’s shutter down were diminishing the prospect of a negotiated settlement of the ongoing political crisis impasse between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government.

Talking to private Express News TV, Sheikh Rashid said that whenever blood was added to any anti-government movement, then the chances of government survival become slim.

He said that Nawaz Shair advisers and aides were inept and incompetent. Had the government advisers and ministers any sense, they would have not brought their workers to streets and let the peaceful protest to go on, he added.

He said that the heat of the fire ignited by the government in Faisalabad would now be felt in Lahore and Karachi.

He said that the incidents in Faisalabad had diminished the prospect of talks between PTI and government.
