Pakistan blind team player makes fastest 50 world record

CAPE TOWN: Pakistan blind cricket team’s Amir Ashfaq on Saturday broke the fastest fifty world record set by another Pakistani player.

Amir Ashafaq scored 50 off just 14 balls and broke the earlier record of 50 off 17 balls. The Green-shirts were playing in the semi final against England in Cape Town.

The earlier record of fastest fifty was made by Pakistan captain Abdur Razzaq.

Pakistan Blind Cricket team on Saturday defeated England in a semi final of world cup by eight wickets and Pakistan qualified for final.

The green shirts player Muhammd Jameel scored century and made 117 runs and other batsman Amir Ashfaq also made fifty and scored 58 runs.
