Relief for Karachiites: K-Electric applies for 74 paisa/unit cut in power tariff

KARACHI: K-Electric on Friday petitioned National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) for reducing power tariff by 74 paisas per unit.

According to report, the petition has been filed with Nepra, requesting the authority to allow the power utility to slash the tariff by 74 paisas per unit.

A K-Electric spokesman said that the requested cut will be  under the Fuel Adjustment Charges.

It is to be mentioned here that the regulatory authority after analyzing request and holding public hearing of the petition will decided as to how much cut should be allowed in the tariff.
