New oil, gas reserves discovered in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s state-owned Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) has made discovery of largeĀ reserves of oil and gas in Attock district of Punjab province.

Significant discovery was made by Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), which is itsĀ 102th success in exploring natural gas oil in the country.

Attock, formerly known as Campbellpur, Ā is located at northern border of the province of Pakistan.

Pakistan would get approximatelyĀ 21 million barrel oilĀ from the reserves, MD OGDCL told reporters.
