LONDON: London Police on Wednesday extended bail of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in money laundering case.
Altaf Hussain got an extension in his bail period up to April, 2015 in money laundering case leveled on by London police.
On November 25, a spokesman of British Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said that investigation into money laundering case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and others have continued.
The spokesman said that he could not comment on the issue as interrogation is on adding that it will be decided in December whether case has to be dissolved or not and also be decided that accused should be given extension or indicted in the case.
The spokesman further added that CPS did not say to Scotland Yard to dissolve the case.
Meanwhile, Scotland Yard spokesman said that interrogation is underway in money laundering case and Imran Farooq murder case adding that three of accused in money laundering case is on bail till December this year.
The spokesman said they determined to apprehend those involved in murder of Imran Farooq.
Earlier on July 24, Muttahida Quami Movement sought has taken more time to collect evidence against charges of money laundering on Altaf Hussain.
According to London Police sources, evidences have been demanded to proof that money recovered during a raid on Altaf Hussain house is legal.
But Altaf Hussain had sought further time to prove money legal in the case.
