PM directs to form mechanism to reduce transport fares

LAHORE: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said it was duty of provincial government s to reduce other commodities prices with respect to decrease in petroleum prices and directed that mechanism should be formed immediately for slashing of transport fares.

He was talking to his brother and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif at his residence in Raiwand.

The PM said that it was part of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz manifesto to provide relief to masses.

The meeting discussed effect of petroleum products reduction and upcoming visit of the PM to Briton.

The PM directed the CM Punjab to mobilize all government functionaries to provide relief to masses of the country and masses representatives should heed to complains of the masses and solve their problems.
