KARAK, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: At least 20 persons sustained injuries following a clash between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) in Karak district and Bannu city on Sunday.
Fierce clash between workers of two political parties, PTI and JUI-F, took place at two spots including Karak and Bannu where PTI convoys leaving for Islamabad to attend rally called on by Imran Khan, local media reported.
The clash occurred when PTI and JUI-F workers faced each other on the road going towards Islamabad.
All injured were shifted to the nearby hospitals by the rescue teams while heavy contingents of law enforcers arrived on the location to maintain law and order.
JUI-F workers spread protests in different parts of Pakistan following their leader, Khalid Mehmood Soomro’s, brutal killing in Sukkur.
Several roads, railway tracks and few highways have now been choked by the JUI-F workers to protest against target killing of Khalid Mehmood Soomro,
