RIP Sachin Tendulkar

NEW DEHLI: This was probably the worst mistake made by  a national newspaper, as Times of India published a tweet about Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes, but wrote “RIP Sachin Tendulkar” instead of “RIP Hughes”.

The 25-year-old passed away on Thursday after being hit in the head by a short-pitched ball on Tuesday.

The cricket community was in mourning following the news of Hughes’ death. Sachin Tendulkar was among the cricketing legends who tweeted about Hughes.
