CAPE TOWN: Pakistan blind cricket team started blind world cup by defeating India with tremendous victory as Pakistan got Indian target of 259 runs in 38th over.
The Indian team won the toss and elected to bat first and they scored 259 runs losing all its wickets. The green shirts skipper took five wickets against 25 runs.
From Indian side Ajay Reddy, Vinket Sawara Rao were top scorer with 71 and 63 runs respectively. The Pakistani side opening was not so good as Badar Munir lost his wicket just scoring two runs.
But later next duo Jameel and Haroon scored winning partnership of 112 runs and Jameel sent to pavilion by scoring 74 runs.
The green shirts achieved the target in 38th over and Pakistani batsman Haroon scored 84 runs and Anis made 50 runs and remained not out.
