Imran says Shairf brothers engaged in making money in the garb of power projects

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief  Imran Khan on Saturday accused Sharif Brothers (Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his brother Chief Punjab Shahbaz Sharif) of making money in the garb of power sector project, saying that they had already made money through the metro bus projects.

Addressing media after PML-N MNA Ejaz Chaudhry’s announcement to join PTI, Imran said that Sharif brother had made hefty  money through Metro Bus projects.

He said that they suspected that they were also making money through the power sector’s projects.

He said that PML-N government had no care for those living in rural areas and villages, as it was busy in obliging industrialists and privileged classes.

The PTI chief said that they wanted to know about the companies currently engaged in projects for power generation through coal and coal extractions, as they suspected that Sharifs might be behind these projects to mint money.
