Sheikh Rasheed issued eviction notice to vacate Lal Haveli

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Evacuee Trust Property Board on Friday issued eviction notice to Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed to vacate Lal Haveli.

Sources said that Punjab Evacuee Trust Property Board  while issuing eviction notice to Sheikh Rasheed has asked him to end the illegal occupation of Lal Haveli.

Meanwhile, talking to media Sheikh Rasheed said that the notice was not issued by any court  rather it was sent by the department on Nov 26, 2014.
He said that a corrupt officer wanted to get fame through such tactics, adding that the property was in the name of eight people and his brother also owned six Marla in the property .

He added that if he was issued notice by a court of law he would not only appear before the court but also respond to the notice.
