NBP gives clean chit to Ittefaq Foundries

ISLAMABAD: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) on Wednesday gave clean chit to Ittefaq Foundries regarding loans payment as NBP has written a letter to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) stating that the Ittefaq Foundries have paid all its loans taken from all the banks of the country.

In the letter the NBP has asked NAB to withdraw reference against the Ittefaq Foundaries as it has paid all the loans of all the banks.

It is pertinent to mention here that a reference had been filed in 2001 in Rawalpindi Accountability Court that the Ittefaq Faoundaries have to pay loans due at it.

However, today the NBP has clarified that no loans have left on the Ittefaq Foundries and reference filed on the Foundries be taken back.
