MUMBAI: Mr Khiladi Akshay Kumar is going to appear in a new film as magician PC Sorcar, who was famous during 1960s.
According to a report in Mid-day, the actor has agreed to play the lead role in the biopic on PC Sorcar. The magician was popular during the 1960s for his mastery in trickery and illusion.
Director Soumik Sen of Gulaab Gang fame has been planning the film for quite sometime.
The report further states that Soumik has managed to secure the requisite permission from PC Sorcar’s son, PC Sorcar Junior to go ahead with the biopic.
