KARACHI: Pakistan Television’s (PTV) ‘Anarkali’ fame actress Zeba Bakhtiar on Friday said that she has no plan to merry but will consider to do if she got the right man with traits of her father, former Attorney General Yahya Bakhtiar and  that would be subjected to the permission from his son Azaan.

Talking in Geo TV’s morning show, Zeba Bakhtiar, who shot to fame for her role in Indian film ‘Hina, said that she was leading a peaceful life and did not want to destroy it .

To the questions of the show’s host, she said that marriage was not necessary for a happy life.

She said that she might consider the idea of marrying again only after a permission from his son and getting of a right man.

She would think about the second marriage in case she found a good life partner with permission from the son. Zeba praised Aamir for his personality and said he had the looks of a hero and could be cast as a hero in films.

Zeba said although she was modern and progressive but not westernised. Being modern did not mean stripping but expressing modernity in thoughts wasn’t a bad thing, she said. She said she hated lies and duplicity – a feeling that she expressed openly – and that was the reason why people also called her blunt and psychological case.

Zeba rejected the rumours about her marriage with Javed Jafferi in India and said Muslim-Hindu riots had erupted in India at that time and she was made a target of propaganda when she came closer to Muslims naturally.
