LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday rejected a petition of National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to stay the proceeding of election tribunal in NA-122.
The LHC in its verdict said that high court cannot interfere in the matters of election tribunal.
The petition was filed by Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayaz Sadiq.
It is pertinent to mention here that election tribunal has ordered verification of votes through thump impression in NA 122 of last general election .
