KARACHI: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that jungle’s rule prevails in the country, adding that the offenders go scot-free.
Talking to media after a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Functional chief Pir Pagara at Kingri House, Chaudhry Sarwar said that the Kot Radha Kishan incident lowered the head of the nation with shame.
However, he pledged that the Kot Radha Kishan incident would me made a test case to ensure rule of law in the country.
He said that the country was bested with severe crises and all political parties needed to go for local bodies elections to overcome the crises.
The Governor deplored that none of political parties in power in centre or provinces  wanted to go for local bodies elections.
He urged politicians to show flexibility as the country was facing many challenges and crises.
To a question he said that members of the Joint Investigation Committee constituted to probe into Model Town incident had nothing to do with Punjab government.
He said that terrorism would be eliminated from the country through the ongoing military operation, Zarb-e-Azb.
