DG IB demands constitution of judicial commission to probe Imran Khan’s allegations

ISLAMABAD: Director General Intelligence Bureau (IB) Aftab Sultan has rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan allegations that government has doled out money to IB for distribution among journalists in a bid to disrupt PTI’s ongoing anti-government movement .

The DG termed the allegations as baseless and fabricated.

He said that allegations could not tarnish the image of the organization as it has facts regarding the matter.

Aftab demanded said that a judicial commission be constituted to investigate the allegations.

He said that there was no truth in the allegations that IB was given money to foil PTI’s sit-in and protests in the country.
