Imran Khan’s language exhibits his mindset: Zardari

LONDON: Former Pakistani President and PPP co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari, said that language of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan exhibits his mindset, however, they cannot copy such negative tone of expression.

Asif Ali Zardari said that whatever done behind the scene in previous sit-ins is before everyone. PPP completely believes in democracy and willing to provide time for democratic government to complete its tenure.

He praised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for adopting policies to enrich ties with neighbouring country China and urged to continue same efforts in future.

Zardari expressed his serious concerns over upcoming election in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Asif Ali Zardari claimed his political party deeply wishes to highlight Kashmir issue just like its deceased leader Benazir Bhutto.

Zardari was addressing a press conference in London after heading a high-level session with central leadership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Monday.

He urged solution of Kashmir issue having major role for betterment of bilateral relations between Pakistan and India.

Zardari claimed that Indian government failed to show seriousness in continuation of dialogues to resolve Kashmir issue as they made consecutive attempts to hold talks including unreadiness for an agreement on Sir Creek dispute.

Zardari said that PPP gives significant sacrifices for the nation, also paid heavy price for democracy and anti-terrorism in shape of Benazir’s martyrdom but still her mission is continued without any delay.

He said that polio campaign in the country seriously affected by Abbottabad incident.

PPP co-chairman reiterated that democracy completed its five years first-ever in the history of Pakistan during his tenure and he tried to run government by working with all coalition partners together.

He said that Benazir Bhutto (late) raised strong voice against terrorism. He added there is no option for defeat against terrorism and Pakistan has to win anti-terrorism war.
