Riyadh traffic accident kills 12 expats, injures 19 on highway

RIYADH: A worst traffic accident has reportedly claimed 12 lives while 19 got serious injuries in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia.


Twelve undocumented expatriates were killed while 19 others were injured in a horrific accident on Monday when two GMCs (vehicle) collided head-on between Riyadh and Dawadmi, foreign media reported.

Police said that injured persons were shifted to nearby hospitals while rescue activities are underway at the incident’s spot.

Various injured are in serious condition while at least 12 dead bodies has also been shifted to the hospitals.
