Shireen Mazari says arrest warrant of Imran nothing but joke

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Shireen Mazari on Monday said  that the arrest warrant against the party Chairman Imran Khan was nothing but a joke.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Mazari said that Imran Khan had condemned the attack on PTV building attack.

She further said that Information Minister Pervez Rashid had forgot to mention in his Sunday’s press conference that Khan had supported Zarb-e-Azb operation.

“Rashid showed fake videos to media about PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). Actually, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had started the culture of attack on state institution, which is evident of its attack on Supreme Court in 1998,” Mazari said.

“PML-N workers attacked police station to get then MNA Anjum Aqeel released in 2012,” she added.

“The party worker Adnan, who was shot and injured in Jhelum yesterday, has died in hospital today and Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif is responsible for his murder,” she added.
