PTI’s 8 workers injured by firing in Jhelum

JHELUM: At least eight Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) workers were injured by firing near Gharmala in Jhelum when their bike rally was moving towards the venue of their public meeting on Sunday, November 16.

According to police, a rescue team shifted the injured to District Civil Hospital.

After the incident, PTI officials alleged that former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Nadeem Khadim was responsible for the attack.

Arif Alvi told media that Nadeem’s guard opened unprovoked firing at the rally of PTI.

Talking to media, Khadim said that he could not shoot any fire and his all offices are closed near the public meeting venue.

“Drug dealers were also present in the PTI convoy,” he said.
