PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq clarified that his political party would be independent in decisions to continue coalition partnership with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) if it dissolves Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on November 30.
Siraj-ul-Haq was address a press conference at JI Peshawar-led Donors Conference organised in Peshawar, the provincial capital of KP.
Haq said that PTI leadership was informed by JI’s stance and severe concerns on expected move of PTI to end KP government on November 30.
JI Ameer added that message was conveyed to PTI leadership through an important one-on-one meeting with Speaker KP Asad Qaiser, as well as expressed severe concerns over Imran Khan’s announcements regarding protests and sit-ins on November 30.
Siraj-ul-Haq clearly stated that JI would not take side of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at any cost over decision of dessolution of KP assembly.
He further said that JI would host millions of Pakistanis at Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore on November 21 who truly believes on making the country as Islamic, welfare and democratic state.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that he will announce public agenda in JI-led ‘Ijtema-e-Aam’ in order to set tasks, targets and future of the Pakistani nation.
