I will leave politics if involvement proved in PTV attack: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said the federal government attacked PTV building itself and that he would leave politics if his involvement was proved in the attack.

Addressing workers in Islamabad sit-in, Khan further said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari were scared of November 21 and 30 dates. “Now they are making the real London plan,” he said.

“The government shut the transmission of PTV itself because the match was fixed, no one was killed and injured there but despite all the facts, the rulers issued non-bailable arrest warrant for me,” Khan said.

“I will leave the politics if my involvement is proved in the case. Fourteen innocent people were killed in Model Town incident but the court did not issue any warrant against the people responsible for that,” he said.
