Bangladesh need nine wickets to whitewash Zimbabwe in Test

CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh need nine wickets to whitewash visitors Zimbabwe in their three-match series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

On the fourth day, Bangladesh declared their second innings at 319 for five, setting up 449 runs target for Zimbabwe. Mominul Haque knocked brilliant 131, while opener Tamim Iqbal scored 65.

In the first innings, Bangladesh scored 503 runs with help of openers’ 224 runs partnership. Zimbabwe scored 374 runs in their first innings. Jobair Hussain took five wickets giving 67 runs in his 20 overs.

Bangladesh won the first and the second Tests by three wickets and 162 runs, respectively.
