Rohit Sharma sets new world record in ODI

KOLKATA: Indian experienced batsman Rohit Sharma has set a new world record to score highest 264 runs in One-Day Internationals (ODI) history at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. 

Sharma knocked 264 off 173 with help of 33 boundaries and nine sixes in the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka.

Sharma broke his teammate player record Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar. Sehwag made 219 runs while Tendulkar made 200 in ODI.

India have set the massive 404 runs target losing their five wickets against Sri Lankan Tigers.
