ATC issues arrest warrant for Imran, Qadri

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has issued arrest warrant against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) cheif Tahirul Qadri on Wednesday, November 12.

According to reports, the court issued the warrant for attacking the Pakistan Televison (PTV) building and the Parliament.

The court has also issued arrest warrants for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Aad Umar, Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rasheed and PAT’s Raheeq Abbasi.

The cases were registered against PTI and PAT at secretariat police station in Islamabad.

PAT Rahiq Abbasi says the government cannot fear us with the warrant.
