Germany gives 21 cannon salute, guard of honour to Nawaz Sharif

BERLIN: Germany’s Armed Forces have given the 21 cannon salute and guard honour to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday, November 11.

The PM was received by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on his arrival for the formal meeting at her official residence here on Tuesday.

On this occasion the melodies of national anthems of both nations were being played by the German Armed Forces’ brass band.

It was the second day of Nawaz Sharif’s visit of Germany for promoting an increased cooperation in trade and development.

On November 10, Sharif addressed to Pakistan German Business Forum in Berlin where he praised Germany’s effort in term of economic.
