SUKKUR: As many as 56 people were killed when a passenger bus and a truck collided at Theri bypass near Sukkur early on Tuesday morning, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Rescue sources said the bus was going to Karachi when it met the accident. The bus was completely destroyed.
The top official of the civil hospital confirmed 56 deaths.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Khairpur. The accident occurred due to overspeeding.
