Misbah now has over 50 Test average

ABU DHABI: With his unbeaten century against New Zealand on Monday, Misbah-ul Haq joined the top group of Pakistani batsmen who average over 50 runs in Tests.

Before this innings, he averaged 49.38. Now he averages 50. 77, thus standing with Javed Miandad, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan who all average more than 50 runs in Test innings.

He scored back-to-back centuries in the second Test against Australia a few days ago, the second of which was a record-breaking innings as he left South African former all-rounder Jacques Kallis behind in scoring the fastest fifty and leveled West Indian Sir Viv Richards’ fastest century.
