10 rupees per Kg reduction in LPG rates

ISLAMABAD: Following a crackdown by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) marketing companies for selling the commodity at inflated price,  LPG price has been cut by Rs10 per kg in the market.

Despite considerable reduction in price of the commodity in the international market, the local marketing companies were charging inflated price for the community in the local market.

Upon this, the regulatory body launched a crackdown on the marketing companies, which led the price of the commodity down in the local market.

Following the Rs10 per kg reduction in LPG  price, now the LGC cylinder for domestic use will be available 100 rupees less than previous price and commercial cylinder rate will come down by Rs 350 rupees.
