Imran went to meet Haq to tender apology: Pervez Rasheed

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervez Rasheed has said that Imran went to meet Sirajul Haq in a bid to ‘tender apology’ to Haq for his uncalled for criticism of the later.

Commenting over the meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan with Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Sirajul Haq, the minister said that the PTI chief had went to apologize to Sirajul Haq for his uncalled-for  and inappropriate rhetoric against the JI chief.

It is to be mentioned here that relations between JI and PTI, allies in KP, strained following Imran Khan public criticism of Sirajul Haq on the basis of a baseless news report.

On Wednesday evening,  in a bid to remove the misunderstandings and improve relations between the two parties, PTI chief Imran Khan went to JI leader Mian Aslam residence to meet Haq.
