KASUR: Charged villagers in Radha Kishan area in Kasur threw husband and wife in kiln and both were burnt alive, the duo was brick kiln workers.
In heinous, barbaric crime police have arrested as many as 37 villagers, DPO Qasur said.
A single person was not involved in the horrific incident but many villagers involved in the cruel act.
According to the details the incident occurred in Kot Radha Kishan village number 59 where two married couple from other village used to work in brick kiln factory.
But when on Tuesday (today) Shama and Shahzad arrived, the factory owner Yousuf Gujjar demanded advance payment given to them earlier. When they did not provide amount the owner alleged several accusations on the duo and closed in the room.
Later he called villagers on the factory and they all threw the couple in kiln and both were burnt alive.
Eyewitnesses said that five policemen from police check post from factory were reached but mob did not allow them to rush on spot.
The DPO Qasur Jawad Qamar said that 37 persons involved in the incident have been taken into custody while arrest of more persons involved in the incident the operation is underway.
The DPO added that in wake of the incident the situation in the area is tense and more police pickets have been called from Lahore.
