Australia didn’t learn against India’s defeat: Clarke

ABU DHABI: Australian team skipper Michael Clarke admitted that his team didn’t learn anything against 4-0 defeat of India at their soil in 2013.

In an interview, Clarke said he was optimistic before the series that his team learned something from India’s defeat but it was not, and the team showed worst performance against Pakistan.

“Only few players played well in the series, in which Mitchell Marsh, David Warner and Steven Smith are at the top,” Clarke said.

Australia had played the four match Test series against India in which the Kangaroos had lost their all four matches at India’s ground.

Australian team have showed so far bad performance at Asian wicket in last six years in which they have lost 10 matches out of 15 while just one match won against Sri Lanka in Galle.
