Suicide jacket recovered from near Wagah border

LAHORE: A suicide jacket weighing eight kg has been recovered from near Wagah border during a search operation.

The bomb disposal squad defused the jacket. An initial report regarding the Wagah border attack has been presented to Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.

The CM has instructed officials to constitute a joint investigation team.

The First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in Batapur police station against a banned outfit, including section 302, 7 ATA, 324, explosive act 4\3, 109.
