Pakistan hockey team’s Rs200,000 prize cheques bounce

LAHORE: The cheques of Rs 200,000 which were given to Pakistan hockey team bounced on Saturday when a few players tried to cash their cheques.

According to reports, the cheques were given by  Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to the team for reaching the Asian Games final, but these cheques bounce because the relevant summary had not been presented yet to the CM.

Pakistan lost the match in the penalty shootout against India.
