LAHORE: Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of prize cheques bounce today, which were given by CM to hockey players for reaching the final of Asian Games recently.
According to a spokesperson of CM Punjab, an inquiry committee will investigate this matter.
The cheques of Rs 2 million which were given to Pakistan hockey team bounced on Saturday when a few players tried to cash their cheques.
Pakistan lost the final in the penalty shootout.
