No rigging in 2013 elections: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif said that there was no rigging in General elections 2013, local media reported on Friday.

The prime minister was addressing an special meeting of the federal cabinet. Nawaz said that the up to RS 14.93 per liter cut in petroleum products’ price  will be a big relief for the people.

He said prices of essential commodities should come down now following the drastic reduction in oil prices. He blamed the PTI sit-in for delay in execution and completion of power projects.

He ordered the provincial governments to make sure that prices of essential commodities and other services should be reduced in their respective provinces.
