Heavy rain expected in Sindh, met office

KARACHI: Director meteorological department Muhammad Hanif has said that danger of storm “Nilofar” to hit Pakistan enormously has now ended but he predicted that storm will result into severe raining.

The intensity of storm has weakened up to 50 percent while it will decrease 25 percent more till Firday (evening).

The met department official also said that now there is no danger of stormy rains in Thatta and Badin any more but severe rains will hit the areas.

On the other side the official said that severe tropical storm has now turned into storm only and it is 560 Km away from Karachi and heading with the speed of 12 Km per hour.

The department also said that on Friday and Saturday night seashores will be rough and tough  suggesting fishermen to avoid going to sea.

The met department also predicted rains in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Umer Koat, Badin, Thattha and others areas of Sindh from Friday (today) for two days.
