MQM demands polling in NA to change opposition leader

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has expressed distrust over opposition leader in National Assembly and for the purpose the party has written a letter to speaker National Assembly (NA) to carry out polling for new opposition leader.

In its letter, the MQM of the view that Opposition leader Khursheed Shah had termed the word “Moahajir” a slang and he has lost qualification as the opposition leader.

The MQM demanded to NA speaker that new polling be carried out for election of new opposition leader.

On Sunday the MQM observed the black day in whole of country against Khursheed Shah statement.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Opposition Leader in NA Khursheed Shah had said that the MQM should not use word of Muhajir for itself and termed it slang.
