NEW DEHLI: An Indian man attacked prayer leader of historic Shahi Mosque Imam Ahmed Shah Bukhari on Sunday in New Delhi, India media reported.
According to the report, the accused first threw bottle filled with kerosene oil on the Imam and later he was just igniting lighter to burn him but guards of the Imam apprehended the culprit.
The Imam of the mosque remained safe and sound, report clarified.
The report said that the attacker belonged to Western Bengal and handed over to police.
