UN to conduct inquiry into Gaza killing: Ban Ki-Moon

NEW YORK: United Nations (UN) Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon said that the UN would probe into Israel’s attacks on UN facilities in  Gaza and killing of innocent people.

Ban Ki-Moon said that the UN  would start independent investigation into the killing of innocent people in Gaza.

Ban said that he would constitute an investigation committee which will also investigate the allegations that Palestinian militants used the UN’s facilities for combat equipment.

More than 2100 Palestinians were martyred, 67 Israeli soldiers and six Israeli civilians killed in the 50-day war.
