DIR KOT (AJK): Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq has said that Pakistan needed national unity (milli ittehad) more than atomic bomb.
The JI ameer was addressing at a public meeting in Dir Kot area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that they need a Pakistan where Chief Justice carries Holly Quran in his hand instead of Anglo-Saxon law book, the prime minister say Azaan (calls for prayers) and President lead the prayer.
The JI chief said that the future of Pakistan did not lie in new Pakistan (Naya Pakistan) as the new Pakistan had been created twice first in 1947 and later in 1971.
“Now there is a need of Islamic Pakistan,” he added.
He said that Pakistan demonstrated weakness over solution of Kashmir issue.
Siraj said that the country needed national unity more than atomic bomb.
