PCB announces 16-member squad for Test series against Australia

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced 16-member squad for two-Test series against Australia.

Raza Hassan, Sami Aslam and Ataullah could not find a place in the squad.

Experienced player Misbah-ul-Haq will lead the team in the two Tests, which are to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Australia whitewashed Pakistan in three-ODI series early this month. However, Pakistan A thrashed the Australians by 153 runs in their four-day practice match on October 18 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Squad: Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Younis Khan, Ahmed Shahzad, Taufeeq Umar, Muhammad Hafeez, Haris Sohail, Sarfraz Ahmed (wicketkeepr), Shan Masood, Muhammad Talha, Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Zulfiqar Babar, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan and Ehsan Adil
