Pakistan A beat Australia by 153 runs in 4 days Test match

SHARJAH: Pakistan-A team thrashed world class team Australia by 153 runs in four day Test match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE.

Pakistan was playing the Test match under the captaincy of Asad Shafiq.

In the first innings, Pakistan declared batting on 305 runs after losing their eight wickets against Australian bowlers.

Skipper Asad Shafiq knocked a century (108) following four sixes and 13 boundaries while opener Ahmed Shahzad made half-century (55) following two sixes and seven boundaries.

Phillips---Australian

Left-arm spinner Steve O’Keefe took three wickets giving 76 runs in his 23 overs.

Australian batsmen failed to finish the 306 runs trail. Alex Doolan and Steven Smith were retired out during the batting, in which Doolan knocked 104 runs and Smith made 58 runs.

Babar-Azam

The Green-shirts got 32 runs lead in advance, which the team received more 306 runs with help of Haris Sohail 103 runs (not out) and Babar Azam 114 runs (not out).

Pakistan set 339 runs target against Australia but the Kangaroos failed to achieve the target and lost all wickets on 185 runs.
