Malala gets Asia Game Changer Award

ISLAMABAD: Nobel laureate and campaigner for children right to education, Malala Yousafzai, has been given Asia Game Changer Award. The award recognises services of people who are truly transforming ideas into action and improving lives in Asia.

Speaking at the award giving ceremony to honour  Malala Yousafzai, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and eleven other leaders and institutions at the UN, President of the Society Josette Sheeran said the awards are given in recognition of services of people who are truly transforming ideas into action and improving lives in Asia.

UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon also attended the ceremony.
