KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran khan was fooling the youth of the country.
Delivering a speech in Karachi on Saturday (today) night, he said that he knew who were behind these protests.
Former president and PPP co-chairperson said that the Pakistan of Bilawal, Benazir and Bhutto would be established soon.
Asif Zardari declared the PTI chief a juggler who was making youth of Pakistan fool and said Imran Khan established a hospital and now on the basis of the hospital he was fooling the people of Pakistan, especially the youth.
He claimed that PPP think tanks have the solutions to all problems of Pakistan and “when we will get our turn we (PPP) will solve all the problems of Pakistan”.
Zardari said that “we have to work with Karachi’s leader Altaf Hussain”.
The PPP co-chairperson said that he has advised his friends (government) to show bigheartedness. “The protesters will get tired and leave,” he claimed.
Zardari said that he knows who have been funding protests and sit-ins in Pakistan.
Alluding to PTI vice chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, he said that “our child’s father had advised him not to quit party at any cost, but he ignored his father’s advice, seeing the lustre on the other side”.
The former president said that Imran Khan supported a dictator (Pervez Musharraf) in referendum in 2002 and later apologised for that. He said no one can accept his apology.
