Sit-ins aimed at harming Pak-China ties: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif on Friday said that sit-ins of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) aimed at harming Pak-China ties and postponed the visit of Chinese President.

“NEPRA rejected PTI’s petition about power tariff, billions of dollars of losses inflicted on Pakistan for political gains,” Asif said.

“Causing economic losses to the country for political gains is nothing less than economic terrorism.

“Every political party is the responsibility to safeguard national interest,” he said.
