DIG CID Shahid Hayat removed after 12 days

KARACHI: Shahid Hayat services have handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and appointed as director FIA Sindh.

The tough  police cop, who was appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Crime Investigation Department (C.I.D) on  October 4, was removed just 12 days after his appointment .

Hayat had previously been removed from the post of AIG Karachi after a Supreme Court decision against Own Pay Scale (OPS) appointments in higher grade.

Sindh government has said that the FIA has requested his services. Hayat is among the officers, who had key role in the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.
